The United States authorities have once again issued a warning to Russia and other countries who support the Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and said that Washington would consider such actions as a “direct threat” to security in the region. Reports replyua.net citing Reuters, the corresponding statement was made by adviser to the head of the White house’s national security, John Bolton,
“We strongly advise supporters who are outside of the Western hemisphere, from the deployment of military assets in Venezuela or anywhere else in the hemisphere with the intention to start or expand a military operation,” he said. At the same time, Bolton added that the United States will consider such provocative actions as a direct threat to international peace and security in the region.
“We will defend and protect the interests of the United States and our partners in the Western hemisphere,” warned Bolton.
