This statement was made by Steven Mnuchin, the head of the Ministry of Finance of the USA, informs replyua.net.
“The Ministry of Finance will have to remain vigilant to En+, and Rusal has fulfilled the obligations. If these companies do not fulfill the conditions they face are very real and quick consequences including the re-introduction of sanctions,” – said Mnuchin, whose words were quoted on the official website of the Department.
According to the head of the U.S. Treasury, the said company had committed to provide an unprecedented level of transparency of operations carried out by them. This was to be a guarantee that Deripaska will manage to restore control over them. Mnuchin also stressed that he Oleg Deripaska, as before, will remain under sanctions, and all his property will be blocked. Simultaneously, under the secondary action includes companies that have previously participated in transactions involving Deripaska.
